OnePlus returns to its old tactics, trying to create discussions around its new phones through various movements in the online environment. The latest seems to be a partnership with Zack Nelson, the creator of the JerryRigEverything YouTube channel. He posted on his Instagram account a photo showing a protective cover for OnePlus Nord, made in partnership with dbrand, in which we can see the inside of the new smartphone, even if it has not yet been officially presented.
OnePlus Nord will receive a special cover from dbrand, with the internal components in sight
Nelson has also had various partnerships with dbrand to make smartphone accessories. These are taken using a photo of the internal components of the devices taken from above. Thus, you can give the impression that the phone is transparent, even if it is actually protected using a foil or a cover.
In the case of OnePlus Nord, we can’t see the whole phone, as the Instagram image “cuts” part of the device, but we can confirm that the phone has a 4,115 mAh battery, with a usable capacity of 4,010 mAh. This value is lower than in the case of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro models, but it was expected that this model would have more modest hardware.
The phone will be launched next week
We can only wait until next week, until July 21, for the official announcement. OnePlus will stream the phone’s presentation event live via an AR app. Tomorrow, July 15, the OnePlus Nord phone will be available for pre-order for 24 hours. This is the last pre-order session scheduled before the official announcement.
