We are all looking forward to the launch of the next-gen consoles, especially the upcoming PS5. Speaking of PS5, something very excited happened recently and we want to tell you everything about it. Keep reading if you want to find out what are we talking about.
The big news
A sketch that turned out to be a PS5 dev kit was recently released and now we are even more excited for the release of the next-gen console.
Matthew Scott, a famous game developer responded to the recent speculations by saying that what we saw was actually the PlayStation 5 dev kits, and not an image with the actual upcoming console.
However, we can expect the new PS5 to have a similar design with the one from the sketch, which will be amazing. In the patent image we were able to see a futuristic V design that looks pretty cool.
Another way to get an idea about the design of the upcoming PS5
A Dutch website called LetsGoDigital also did something to anticipate the design of PS5. In the images posted on the website, we could see a neon touch panel, but that’s not all. Some cool illuminated vents could be spotted as well.
What else do we expect from the new console?
The system architect Mark Cerny announced earlier this year that the next-gen console will provide an 8K resolution. Also, he said that the loading times of the console will be significantly improved.
Another thing that we expect to happen is the release of the next-gen console on February 2020. At least that’s what we heard via some information leak. We don’t know for sure if February 21 will be the actual release date of PS5 and that’s why we are waiting for the official announcement.
