The new Overwatch update 2.72 is finally here. It was released on August 13. The new Role Queue Season is available as well, as we expected, on PS4, Xbox One and PC. We heard that it will last until September 1. Also, you won’t be able to find it on Quick Play until September 1.

Role Queue is a great addition to the game because it will improve the way that teams are built Also, there are some changes in the matchmaking and queuing system that we want to tell you more about. You can pick now your role before the beginning of the game. You’ll choose between tank, support or damage. In one team there will be two players from each roles mentioned before.
You’ll have to choose your role before the start of every game by going to the main menu and simply selecting your favorite choice. Every role will have its own queue.
The new hero Sigma
What we didn’t know for sure was the release of the new hero called Sigma. We all heard that it was in the process of testing for a while now. A lot of specialists are saying that Sigma is ready to be launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The launch of Sigma was a mystery for all of us. We didn’t know if it was supposed to happen in the same day as the new Role Queue Season Beta.
