NBA 2K20 is set for launch on the 6th of September 2019. It will be available on the following platforms: Xbox, PS4, PC, and Switch. But fans will get a sneak peek into the game a little bit before that as August 21st is the date set for The Prelude demo.
The last installment of the game will feature promising rookie Zion Williamson that recently signed on with the franchise. Williamson, the power forward from Duke, took center stage as he was first overall pick in the 2019 draft.
Zion Williamson Career Prospects
The upcoming rookie was given an array of sponsorship deals. The highlights included a 7-year contract with Jordan and his signing with 2K Sports. The deal with Nike’s Jordan division is probably the biggest one since LeBron James. Williamson will join 50 other athletes from different sports that represent the Jordan brand.
Williamson spoke out in a Youtube video from 2K Sports in which he mentioned what his career aspirations are in the physical and digital world.
2K Sports has probably signed Williamson for a multiyear contract. This will make the NBA player appear in a host of social events and in-game scenarios that will promote the franchise. No exact details on the contract have been made but judging by previous NBA personalities, we can be sure to see Williamson a lot in the future.
Childhood dream come true
Zion Williamson has been on top of the Moon since his confirmation as the highest rater rookie of 2019. But he seems equally excited about his deal with 2K and his subsequent appearance in the game. He had this to say:
“I’m excited to officially join Team 2K and be a part of this global phenomenon, where people around the world can play like me. I’m ready to put my imprint on basketball culture and be a part of the team that represents what’s next in the sport.”
