Call of Duty Modern Warfare will get its significant open alpha for PS4 this week. The game was announced during Gamescom Opening Night Live – the game will be launched for PS4 this Friday.
The Call of Duty Modern Warfare open alpha will focus on the 2v2 Gunfight mode. It will come with five different maps, which are completely playable. This comes as the first chance for PS4 fans to be able to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare before the open beta – before the 25th of October release date. The game will be open to all the PS4 players, and you won’t need a specific code to play.
These are the five maps: King, Pine, Speedball, Docks, and Stack.
There’s the 2v2 Gunfight mode, and there are also other modes, such as the 6v6, the 10v10, the 20v20, and 100+ player modes.
Activision said in a statement that the Gunfight configurations would be done in the weekend. They also said that they expect multiple operators to be available, and at least one game mode will be available to play, with the “Pickup” variant mode scheduled. There will also be a lot of surprises because new content will be added on the weekend.
The company has also confirmed that Call of Duty Modern Warfare alpha will begin at 6 pm BST on the 23rd of August. That would be on a Friday. For those of you who are in other regions, the beginning time will be 10 am pacific time and 1 pm eastern time. we don’t know when will it end, but it will probably be on the 25th of August, on Sunday.
The preloads will also begin on Thursday.
